AeroSTEM Consulting is currently contracting with SpaceTEC, a National Resource Center for Aerospace Technicians, to design and implement a national Schools-to-Space Program launched in the Fall of 2015.
Work with community-based organizations to coordinate space-related events appropriate to primary school students which educate and excite.
Perform outreach to students, primarily at the middle and high school level to increase awareness of aerospace industry career opportunities.
Define activities appropriate to middle and high school students which introduce performance-based certification competencies as building blocks to aerospace careers.
Develop interactive workshops for presentation at educator professional development conferences such as M-STEM and HI-TEC using aerospace-related materials and curricula to build capability for fostering student interest in STEM fields.
Coordinate SpaceTEC social media content and dissemination protocols to capture attention and promote Center activities/programs.
SpaceTEC has continuously renewed their contract with AeroSTEM Consulting.
In October 2015, the City of Whitehall Michigan contracted with AeroSTEM Consulting to participate in week long panel at a major STEM event sponsored by Alcoa at the Howmet Playhouse. Over 1,300 middle school students attended the event and learned about robotics and aerospace career options.
